Announcing Free Public Coffee Tastings – Wednesdays at 3pm

Posted by Ryan O'Rourke on January 22, 2019 in Community Events

Are you curious about coffee? Do you want to learn how to taste coffee, develop your palate, or take a view of our current and upcoming single-origin selections and blends? Alternately, do you like receiving things for free?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then you should come to our FREE public coffee tastings, every Wednesday from 3 to 4pm, at our Ironclad Café on East Grace Street in Shockoe Bottom. As distinct from an industry cupping, these events will be geared to the public: coffees will be brewed and prepared for regular consumption, and no points will be awarded to attendees who can slurp the loudest.

And if we’re in the mood, who knows? We might also try out some flavor pairings: matching coffees with pastries, with chocolate – maybe even wine! Did we mention, it’s a free event? Don’t miss it.
