1805 East Grace Street — future home of Ironclad Coffee Roasters café

As we approach the two-year anniversary of cutting the ribbon on our roasting facility in Scott’s Addition, the time has most certainly come to establish our own coffee bar / café. We need a venue of our own to highlight the most brilliant coffees that come into our roastery and to showcase magnificent coffee experiences through those special lots. It’s the next step in our company’s efforts to close the gap between Richmond’s love affair with coffee and Richmond’s love affair with beer.  :-)

As you might expect, we’re investing significant capital of our own into the design, build out, and furnishing of the magnificent and historic old firehouse at 1805 East Grace Street in the old Shockoe Bottom neighborhood of Richmond.  We’re including this crowdfunding piece as a way to ensure we have the resources needed to create a space of which Richmonders everywhere can be proud.  We’ve assembled a robust package of perks to bring items of great value into the hands of everyone who gets behind us in this effort.

Please take a few minutes to check out our campaign on Indiegogo.
