Special Order Cakes from the Ironclad West End Bakery

Birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations of any kind, or even ... just because!  There's truly never a bad time to make one of our swanky layer cakes an integral part of your cheer-bringing efforts.  

Simply make your cake(s) selection, and jot us a note in the "Special Instructions" section at checkout to let us know the day and time you plan to pick up.  We can include simple lettering on these cakes - please make that request in the same "Special Instructions" section at checkout if desired. 

All cakes are eight inches in diameter.  Select whether you would like three layers (serves 6-12) or a towering five layers (serves 12-20).

* Please allow for at least three days from the time you order to your requested pick up day.  All cakes are made at our West End café and bakery at 2100 John Rolfe Parkway.

Please note, cakes cannot be shipped.

Jill's Carrot Cake - old family recipe featuring impossibly moist layers of carrot cake with fresh carrots and cinnamon iced with our rich cream cheese icing and golden pecan nuggets

Bare-Knuckle Espresso Mocha Cake - decadent dutch cocoa cake with fluffy espresso buttercream featuring our very own Bare-Knuckle Espresso

Vanilla Chai Latte Cake - sweet & spicy layers of real vanilla cake (using real vanilla, of course) infused with our Masala chai, iced with the same real vanilla and cinnamon buttercream

The Turkish Delight Cake - the epitome of luxury; layers of real pistachio cake with real rose water buttercream; the natural vibrant green of the pistachio cake is gorgeous alongside the blush pink icing ... as strikingly beautiful as it is delicious

Tres Leches con Bayas - a twist on the classic Latin American "three milks" cake, our version is three layers of white cake soaked overnight in a rich sweet milk syrup.  It is then stacked, filled and covered with house-made Chantilly crème and topped with fresh seasonal berries.

Mexican Cocoa Cake - rich and extra dark chocolate cake layers infused with chili powder and cayenne iced with a torched Italian-style merengue

Blood Orange & Vanilla Bean Cake - moist vanilla bean cake layers with real vanilla and blood orange zest, blood orange buttercream, and a vanilla bean & blood orange glaze

Kentucky Jam Cake - layers of beautiful spice cake with blackberry jam folded into the batter iced with a scratch-made caramel icing; a true southern classic

Tiramisu Cake - vanilla cake layers soaked in brandy with a mascarpone creme filling and a Bare-Knuckle Espresso Swiss meringue buttercream -- viva Italia!

Earl Grey & Lavender Cake - fragrant vanilla cake infused with our loose leaf Earl Grey black tea iced with fluffy buttercream infused with real lavender flowers

White Russian Cake - marbled chocolate & vanilla cake layers soaked with our very own House of Usher Blend coffee liqueur (think Kahlua but better), Swiss meringue buttercream icing with Bare-Knuckle Espresso and more Ironclad coffee liqueur, finished with a white chocolate drizzle 

Gluten-Free Chocolate Truffle Cake - dense and rich flourless chocolate cake with luxurious chocolate mousse icing between the layers and over top (even non-gluten-free folks love this cake)
