Starting Tuesday, January 15th, we will be debuting hot, oven-fresh breakfast sandwiches at Ironclad Café.
In tandem with Lark Baking Company (also the supplier of our delicious scones, pastries and cakes), we will be offering these breakfast beauties around the clock, seven days a week, while supplies last. Sandwich options include bacon, egg and cheddar (pictured above); Canadian bacon, egg and smoked gouda; turkey sausage, egg and swiss, all on a flaky, fluffy buttermilk biscuit.
For a small up-charge, we’ll drizzle some AR’s Ames’ Hot Southern Honey on your breakfast biscuit to give it a pleasing spicy zing. It’s what we use to make our Hot Honey Cappuccino, one of our winter seasonal drink specials and a hit with our customers – a great pick-me-up in the morning, or to warm you up on a snowy day! We’ve found the pairing of AR’s Hot Honey with the buttery, savory flavors of these sandwiches to be exquisite. Try it – your taste buds will fall in love!
With the installation of a countertop convection oven, we now have the ability to heat any of our baked goods on demand – so don’t hesitate to ask us if you want your scone or danish warmed up!
And for those of you looking for satisfying health-conscious options, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! We are also rolling out superfood cereal bowls by Vigilant Eats. With low glycemic ingredients for lasting energy, these hot breakfast bowls are non-GMO, vegan, gluten free and delectable. Look for these on our menu soon!
