Straight out of the old school of craft sodas, we’re pleased to present our very first take on a coffee soda. A little bit chocolatey, a little bit cherry, a little bit spicy, and a lot coffee.
Old ’84 is our made-from-scratch craft coffee soda that hearkens back to the days when soda was more herbal tonic than merely variations on overly sweet sugar water.
What’s behind the name? Our café building was constructed in 1884 as Richmond Fire Department’s Hook and Ladder Company No. 2. The image above overlays modern day on a photograph from a fire department calendar in the early 1890s.
