Making a Difference in Richmond, Together

RVA, Richmond, CharitiesWe don’t keep it a secret — we love our city.  We love our state for that matter; and yes, we love our country!  We consider ourselves debtors to the nation, the state, and the city in which we live, work, and play.  Richmond is a magnificent place, and it is our humble desire to make it a little better, still.

This is the inspiration behind our monthly LoveRVA Morning fundraiser events.  For all the wonderful things happening around Richmond, we see areas in which it can be even better.  At present, we’ve selected two areas close to our hearts — children and animals — to support both financially and through “elbow grease.”  Of course, our ability to do so is only possible because of the people who support local and small businesses.  When you choose to spend your money with small and locally-based businesses, you are allowing companies like ours to give back in a way that our much larger national and multi-national competitors cannot and do not.

Your participation in these LoveRVA Morning events has already made it possible to give makeovers to school buildings Richmond Public Schools system, to provide individual teachers with drastically needed classroom expense funds, to save and improve the lives of our community’s homeless pets, and more.  The more coffee we drink and the more cinnamon rolls we eat together on these Thursday mornings, the more good will be done.  It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!  :-)

No matter where you live, please support your local coffee roaster(s).  If you live in the Richmond metro area, we hope you will plan on joining us from time to time for some of our LoveRVA Morning events wherein 100% of what you spend on freshly roasted coffee (from us) and delicious cinnamon rolls from C&C’s Cinnamon Rolls will be donated directly to Building a Better RPS group and the Richmond SPCA in alternating months.  Literally, all you have to do to make a real, tangible difference in the lives of our city’s school children and our city’s homeless animals is drink coffee and eat cinnamon rolls.  Now, that’s a win-win proposition if ever there was one!

Thank you, so very much, for your support.
