On behalf of Sugar Shack Donuts, everyone who makes up the Ironclad Coffee Roasters team wishes to express our gratitude to everyone who showed up on Monday, April 25th for the coffee & donuts fundraiser in support of the late Trooper Chad Dermyer’s family.
We had a steady stream of people coming in from 7:30 a.m. all the way up to 10:00 a.m. The folks at Sugar Shack Donuts calculated around 700 donuts distributed. That is an amazing number for just over two hours. We served liters upon liters of coffee alongside those donuts. We also want to thank the folks from WRIC Channel 8 News for joining us and covering the event live and on-site.
In all, $2,500 were raised to help the Dermyer family in this difficult time. The check was cut and sent directly to the fund set up for the Dermyers at the Virginia State Police Association.
